After early breakfast leave for Nubra valley (5-6 hours) via Khardungla pass @ 18,380 ft. (World’s highest motorable road). Reach Numbra valley by afternoon. Nubra valley offers tremendous scenery on a grand scale with green oasis villages surrounded by thrillingly stark scree slopes and harsh arid mountains. An early departure as you depart Sarchu and cross over the Bara Lacha La pas (4892m) commonly referred to as the 'Switzerland of India' because of its spectacular snow-capped mountain views. Enjoy a beautiful little village which lies on the banks of the Bhaga River.
